Since the day we met, Steve and I have always loved to be together. Most couples need some space from time to time. Not so with us. We would absolutely always rather be together. Kind of crazy, but that’s just the way we are. And this has spilled over to our girls. When asked about their favorite part of any particular day, they almost always answer, “just being together as a family”. Crowded, squished, cramped, we’re alright. Just so we’re together.
Since the time we first had a second little girl to fit on our laps, our motto has been, “There’s always room for one more!”. And now with three little girls, our answer remains the same. There is always room to snuggle with another, fit another on our laps, have another “helper” in the kitchen, pack another much loved stuffed animal or doll in the brimming car, fit another couple of guests into our completely full house (even though they have to sleep in the laundry room for lack of space). With us, there is always room for one more. And that’s the way we like it.
Here we are, all packed up to go camping. See what I mean?
Right now we are in the process of making room for yet another in our family. We’re working on adopting a child from China, and this blog will be a record of our journey.
